Wendy Seiwert's Experience
Wendy has a background in office work spanning 13 years before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom for 16 years to raise her children. In 2018, she started working for BMI and has since progressed to Office Administration.
Greg Mies' Experience
With a career beginning in the concrete industry as a laborer in 1983, Greg joined BMI in 1988, steadily advancing through the ranks before becoming a company owner in 2000. Boasting multiple certifications, he has been ACI certified since 2007 and is a skilled laser screed operator. He holds 18 World of Concrete certifications, including a Master Certification in Concrete Materials. Additionally, he is OSHA 10 certified and holds a Hard Knox certification, demonstrating his extensive expertise and dedication to the field.
Derek Newcome's Experience
Derek has been in the construction industry for six years, with four years of experience as a project manager and estimator at his previous position. He now focuses on estimating for BMI and has been with the company since May 2023. Derek is OSHA 10 certified, reflecting his dedication to safety and precision in his work.
Ernie Evans' Experience
Ernie began his career in estimating in the fall of 1992, gaining experience with Farha Construction, Voegeli Construction, Cornejo Construction, and Builders Concrete. He joined BMI in April 2009 and semi-retired in April 2024. Ernie is also OSHA 10 certified, underscoring his commitment to safety and excellence in the construction industry.
Terry Hagar's Experience
Terry began his career with Bob Lampy Construction in Dodge City, Kansas, focusing on home building and civil work for KDOT. He joined Smith Construction in 1986, quickly advancing from utility person to foreman and, by July 2006, becoming an estimator, sales, and project manager. He started working for BMI in February 2024.
Arturo Ortega's Experience
Arturo brings 28 years of experience in the construction industry, holding multiple equipment operator and Somero Laser Screed operator certifications.
Kathy Mies' Experience
Kathy has 19 years of experience in various administrative rolls before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom. She started working at BMI part-time to lend a helping hand and now handles HR responsibilities, daily operations, and fosters team culture.
Chico Hernandez-Trejo's Experience
Chico has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, starting as a crew member near BMI's inception and progressing through the ranks. He holds multiple equipment operator and Somero Laser Screed operator certifications.
Bailie Foster's Experience
Bailie holds two Bachelors degrees from WSU’s Barton School of Business in Entrepreneurship and Marketing, with a focus on consumer behavior. With five years of experience in business development, she has helped adjust systems and processes for four companies since January 2019. She has been involved in marketing since 2015, with six solid years of experience in the field starting in February 2018.
